About Me

My Mission

At Tennis Simplified, my mission is simple: to make tennis accessible, enjoyable, and easy to learn for everyone. Whether you’re stepping onto the court for the first time or looking to refine your skills, I’m dedicated to breaking down the game into simple, actionable steps that anyone can understand.

Through my lessons, free resources like blogs, and YouTube videos, I aim to create a supportive environment where players of all levels can grow their confidence, improve their technique, and discover the joy of tennis. My ultimate goal is to help you fall in love with this incredible sport and make it a part of your life.

Who am I?

From the age of four, I’ve been playing tennis and cheering my dad on from the sidelines of his club tournaments. Since then, I’ve consistently played every single week of my life.

At 11, I moved to Antigua and Barbuda, where my life changed in many ways—except for my tennis. Tennis continued to thrive, and I began playing more than ever under the beautiful Caribbean sun. During this time, I had the privilege of training with the Davis Cup team of Antigua and Barbuda, and it was here I gained my first coaching experience, teaching children from my school.

I later moved to the UK, where I obtained my PTR tennis coaching certificate, marking the beginning of my coaching journey. After moving to Rotterdam for my studies, I soon found a coaching job at my local club in Kralingen, starting with around 10 hours per week.

Two years later, I’m still coaching at that club, have started teaching at my university, and built a network of private clients.

Having coached over 300 people across 700 hours, I’ve noticed that most players face similar challenges when starting their tennis journey. That’s why I created Tennis Simplified. My goal is to make tennis easy and enjoyable to learn for everyone. Through both my lessons and the free resources on my blog and YouTube channel, I aim to share as much knowledge as I can—no matter where you are in the world.
